Dianne and Ron Morgan have run 'Dreamcatcher Children' since 1995 which helps chronically and terminally ill children and their families by brightening their lives in any way, such as holidays or special treats.

An auction was held at The Old Bell in Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury, which raised £3,304.89 for the charity.

Dianne said: "Following the wonderful fundraising auction evening at The Old Bell recently where licensee Simon Perks and bar manager Dave Price worked so hard to raise money. Dreamcatcher Children have received a cheque for the outstanding amount of £3,304.89."

Ron added: "We are so humbled not just by the phenomenal amount of money raised to brighten the lives of Dreamcatcher Children and their families but also by the effort Simon, Dave and all those that supported the auction expended! We cannot thank them all enough, we feel they are truly stars in the Shrewsbury community!"
