Shrewsbury park and ride route closed over travellers' behaviour
Travellers have caused one of Shrewsbury's park and ride service to stop operating due to bad behaviour this afternoon.
A group have pitched up at Meole Brace Park & Ride in Shrewsbury, and their antics have prompted Shropshire Council to stop the last service of the day.
A spokesman for the council said: "The Meole Brace park and ride service in Shrewsbury has been badly affected by the presence and behaviour of travellers at the park and ride site.
"For the safety of drivers, passengers, vehicles and the site itself we have decided to suspend the service after the last journey today.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused, though numbers using the service are currently low and falling due to the lockdown.
"Harlescott park and ride will continue to operate as normal."
