Bombo's, in Wyle Cop, Shrewsbury, is up for sale with Halls.

Director James Hitchin, also boss of The Alb in Shrewsbury, said that time constraints for him and fellow directors - his brother and sister - have prompted the move.

"My sister is working in the NHS and my brother has started a new outdoor events company. I'm pretty busy with The Alb, so that's why we've put it on the market. It could be a great place for someone to showcase their skills."

Bombo's was launched in 2018. The business is up for sale for £75,000. The new buyer would rent the property, which includes a two-bedroom flat.

In its listing on the Halls website it says: "The business has established an enviable reputation as a licenced business offering cocktails, craft beer and a restaurant based Asian cuisine and has numerous repeat custom. It also benefits from a permit that allows them to offer outdoor seating on Wyle Cop.

"The property itself is an attractive three storey building, which has been fitted out to a high standard. The ground floor is arranged to provide a restaurant area with an open plan bar and seating for approximately 30 covers and a commercial kitchen and toilets. The first floor provides a restaurant area with seating for approximately 34 covers, stores and a toilet. The basement area has been converted by the vendors of the business to provide seating for approximately 14 covers.

"The second floor of the property provides a two-bedroom flat that is currently occupied by one of the chefs, but could in the future be occupied by the proprietors of the business.

"At present the business is open from Wednesday to Sunday, but there is potential for further expansion of the opening hours to suit new vendors requirements. The business employs currently two full time chefs, two full time front of house and various part time staff."
