Shrewsbury Food Hub will be distributing items at Church of the Holy Spirit in Meadow Farm Drive, Sundorne from 9.30am to 11am, and Riversway Elim Church in Lancaster Road, Harlescott from 9.30am to noon.

A spokeswoman for the food hub said: "Some venues may close earlier if the food has all been shared. Everyone is welcome. There’s always lots of bakery items plus some fruit and veg. It’s run on a pay-as-you-feel basis. Bring a bag!

"Please wear a face covering, don’t come if you’re showing Covid symptoms and only one person per household to help us keep safe."

The food hub is celebrating its fifth anniversary, and volunteers and supporters have been doing fitness challenges to raise money and help it continue to operate.
