Delays after crash on busy A5 stretch near Shrewsbury
Motorists were delayed in the late afternoon after a crash involving two vehicles on one of Shropshire's busiest roads.
Three fire crews and an operations officer were mobilised from Shrewsbury to attend a two-vehicle crash on the A5 between Emstrey and Preston, near Shrewsbury, on Wednesday.
While the police were also in attendance, the Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed there were no injuries at the crash. The fire crews used small gear to make one vehicle safe for recovery.
