Man caught with knife in Shrewsbury Quarry ordered to do unpaid work

A man who was caught with a kitchen knife in a popular park has been ordered to carry out unpaid work.

Anatoli Trifonov, aged 19, was caught in The Dingle in the Quarry, Shrewsbury, on January 10 this year.

Trifonov, of Clovelly Road, Coventry, pleaded guilty to possession of a knife in a public place without good reason or lawful authority at Telford Magistrates Court.

He was given a 12-month community order, 80 hours unpaid work, 15 rehabilitation activity days and ordered to pay £280 in costs.
