A pensioner died from sepsis after a hernia operation at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, an inquest heard.

Janet Leese, aged 65, went in for elective Rives-Stoppa abdominoplasty, but suffered complications and became seriously ill. She died on December 15 last year.
An inquest at Shirehall heard that the cause of death was sepsis and a small bowel tear.
Ms Leese, from Hadley, Telford, was a retired quality inspector.
John Ellery, senior coroner for Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, recorded a narrative conclusion of complications arising from a surgical procedure.
