Shrewsbury power cut caused by 'third party damage'
Third party damage was reported to be the cause of a power cut to nearly 100 properties in Shrewsbury on Friday afternoon.
Power supplier National Grid say it took just under an hour to fully restore power to 91 properties in the London Road area after it was raised with it at 1.09pm.
A spokesman for the supplier said: "We successfully restored all supplies in the area by 2.08pm this afternoon."
The company said the reason for the outage was "third party damage to our network in your area".
