Fire crew scrambled to Wetherspoon pub in Shrewsbury as fire alarm goes off during system test
A fire system test caused an alert at a Wetherspoon pub in Shrewsbury on Monday morning.
Firefighters were scrambled to Montgomery's Tower, at Lower Claremont Bank, after an automatic fire alarm went off at about 7.09am.
When they arrived they found it was a false alarm due to testing of system and the emergency was called off at 7.19am.
