Revealed: Fastest and slowest house sales markets with SY postcodes
A house-buying firm has revealed how many days more it takes to sell a house in the fastest and slowest property markets across Shropshire.
According to research by Property Solvers transactions are taking an average of 123.38 days (nearly 18 weeks) to complete across SY postcodes over the last year.
Some of the quickest areas to sell a property at the moment include Welshpool (SY21), the Bayston Hill area (SY3) and Whitchurch (SY13).
In the top 10 areas, Property Solvers revealed that homes took an average of 113.30 days (16.19 weeks) to sell.
Homes were selling the slowest in the Shrewsbury (SY4 - Baschurch, Bomere Heath, Nesscliffe, Shawbury, and Wem), Ellesmere (SY12) and Llanfechain, Llanfyllin, Llansantffraid, Llanymynech & Meifod (SY22) postcodes.
