Motorcyclist dies after crash
A motorcyclist has died following a crash this morning.
The incident happened on Tuesday morning on the A44 between Baron's Cross and Monkland, near Leominster.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said that paramedics had attended but were unable to do anything to save the man.
A spokesman said: "We were called at 9.33am to a road traffic collision involving a motorbike on Monkland Road in Stag Batch, Hereford.
"A paramedic officer and a BASICS emergency doctor attended the scene. Upon arrival, we found a man who was the motorcyclist.
"Unfortunately, it was clear that nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed deceased by ambulance staff at the scene."
The road has been closed since the incident and police have said it is likely to remain closed until 6pm at least.
