Firefighters give advice after call to flood in Bishop's Castle

A householder was advised to call a plumber after firefighters were called out to Bishop's Castle.

Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service received a call reporting a flood affecting electrics at a property in High Street at 1.47pm on Monday.

A crew was scrambled from the fire station in Bishop's Castle.

A spokesman for the fire and rescue service said the crew gained access to the property and isolated the water supply.

They added that the occupier was "advised to contact plumber." The incident was declared over at 2.46pm.
