Alarm raised as bull escapes from Broseley field
Police were called to a bull on the loose after it escaped from a farm in Broseley today.
The animal, which was not behaving in an aggressive manner, escaped from a field in Park View, Broseley.
Police received reports of the incident this morning.
But police community support officer Emma Smelius found on her arrival that the bull had wandered back onto the field it had originally come from.
A further check showed that there was damage to the fence that secured the field.
Officers were able to identify the farmer who was responsible for the field and he agreed to attend as soon as he could to repair the fence.
