Girl sexually assaulted at Telford Ice Rink

Police have launched an appeal after a girl was sexually assaulted at a busy ice rink.

The girl and a boy had an argument after the boy grabbed her in front of a number of witnesses at Telford Ice Rink.

Now West Mercia Police are looking for anybody who might have been there at about 9.25pm on January 19 to come forward.

The boy is described as having a dark tan, shaven black hair, a very slim build, and being about 5ft 5 inches tall. He looked 15 years old and was wearing a blue coat with a fur-trimmed hood.

He had a distinctive mole or birthmark above his upper lip.

Constable Charlotte Hayward said: "This incident happened at a busy, public ice skating rink and reports indicate plenty of people witnessed it.

"If it rings any bells, please come forward and tell us what you remember seeing."
