1,200 want sheep racing reinstated at Hoo Farm
More than 1,200 people have signed a petition calling for sheep racing to return at Shropshire's Hoo Farm.
Bosses at Hoo Farm, at Preston on the Weald Moors, near Telford, said that despite support they would work with experts in April to ensure the safety of their animals before bringing the races back.
They were originally cancelled after pressure from animal rights group Lambentations.
This afternoon's children's racing - which was meant to be a replacement for the sheep races - was cancelled because of the weather.
