Man falls down disused pit at Telford industrial estate
Emergency crews rescued a man after he fell down a pit at a Telford industrial estate today.

The incident happened at Halesfield Industrial Estate at about 11.10am.
Three fire crews from Telford Central and Wellington were assisted by the West Midlands Hazardous Area Response Team.
Crews used a rescue platform to rescue the man from the 6ft deep disused pit.

One ambulance and one paramedic officer were in attendance.
On arrival they found a man in his late 60s who had suffered a shoulder injury.
He was given pain relief at the scene and taken to Princess Royal Hospital in Telford.
