Police hunt for Telford 'stabbing' victim

A search has begun for a man who told witnesses he was stabbed in Telford.

The stabbing would have happened near Leegomery at about 4am on Saturday.

Officers rushed to the area after calls from a witness in Lawton Farm Way.

The victim is described as being white, aged between 20 and 30, and wearing a grey jumper. He was seen heading on foot in the direction of Leegomery after the incident.

Despite looking around the area and enquiries since, police have not been able to find the man.

Police are urging him to get in touch for any treatment he may require and to provide further information.

Anybody who knows the man is asked to contact 101 urgently, quoting incident number 110S of 29 December 2018.
