Warning after 'scruffy' man seen talking to children in Telford
A warning has been issued to parents after a "scruffy looking" man with a small black dog was seen talking to children in Telford.
The man, who is believed to be between 30 and 40, was seen around Stirchley centre at about 3.30pm on Friday.
Police said the man had unnerved children who had to walk past him to get home. The youngsters described him as scruffy looking, unshaven and appearing to be under the influence of drink or drugs.
Officers asked that anybody who sees the man calls police on 101 citing reference number 0485s 250119.
