Jailed: Telford man ignored domestic violence order and contacted woman
A man has been jailed after contacting a woman despite being banned due to a domestic violence prevention order.
Matthew Sylvester breached the order, which was put in place to protect the woman, on April 25. The 43-year-old, of Burton Close, Dawley, Telford, admitted the breach at Kidderminster Magistrates Court.
Sylvester was jailed for six weeks due to the "serious nature" of his offending and his "flagrant disregard" of court orders.
