More than 100 homes in Telford hit by 'suspected blown fuse' power cut

More than 100 properties in Telford are suffering a power cut and engineers expect to have it fixed this evening.

The incident was reported at about 11.30am in the Priorslee area (TF2) and National Grid says it was because of a suspected blown fuse on its network.

Engineers were in the area at 12.35pm and to work on the issue.

Company estimates that power would be restored by 3pm turned out to be too optimistic. A new estimated restoration time has been put at 7.30pm.
