Fire crews sent to check out flooded Telford house over electrical danger fears

A fire engine was sent to flooded home this evening over safety fears about the electrics.

The flood happened at a home in Willowfield, Woodside, Telford. Firefighters were sent and established that there was no electrical danger.

A Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "On Friday, June 2, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as flood affecting electrics in Telford. Crews have isolated water."

One fire engine was mobilised from Telford Central station. Attending crews used small gear to deal with the incident.
