Fire crew scrambled to Telford town centre fuel spill

Firefighters were called to mop up a fuel leak in Telford town centre on Monday morning.

One fire engine from Telford Central was scrambled to Ironmasters Way at 11.27am to reports of a small fuel spill.

A spokesman for Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service said there were about two or three litres of diesel on the road and they made the roadway safe.

It was all declared over less than 20 minutes later.
