The directors said they were excited to be unveiling the show, saying: "We are incredibly proud of everyone involved, who has worked so hard to bring this vibrant show to life. Without our cast, set designers, stage crew, costumes, lights, and music, we wouldn’t have been able to realise our vision.
"To the members and audiences of The Little Theatre Donnington, each production comes alive because of you. For many of us, being a part of this theatre is like having a second family, so we can truly say, ‘There’s no place like home.’”
Musical director CJ Allen said the classic music is part of the magic of the show, saying: "The music in The Wizard of Oz is timeless and magical. From iconic numbers to the energetic and heartwarming songs throughout, it’s been a joy to bring these classic pieces to life. We’ve worked hard to ensure the score captures all the emotion and wonder of the story, and I think the audience will feel that magic from the moment the overture begins."
