Dozens of firefighters tackle Telford barn blaze

Firefighters were this evening tackling a blaze at a barn and domestic property in Telford.

Firefighters were called around 5.30pm

Six fire engines were called to the scene in Granville Road, Donnington Wood, at around 5.30pm.

Crews from Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Telford Central, Tweedale and Wellington used breathing apparatus, hose reel water jets and a main jet to extinguish the flames.

The Heavy Pumping Unit, the Incident Command Unit, the Incident Support Unit and the Water Carrier were at the scene with Operations, Hazmat and Safety Officers also in attendance.

The fire involves one barn and a domestic property adjacent.
