CBeebies' Mr Bloom leads line-up at new Ironbridge children's festival
A festival for young children starring CBeebies' Mr Bloom will be coming to Ironbridge this summer.
Hullaballoo in the Park will include stage shows, music, science, stories and puppets, as well as creative area to enjoy.
Tickets for the show, which will be held in Dale End Park, will go on sale this weekend.
Sarah Belcher, whose company is organising the show, said: "We are very excited to be announcing Hullabaloo in the Park in Ironbridge and we can’t wait to bring our creative and magical event to such a wonderful venue. We are also very excited to reveal our headline act, Mr Bloom from CBeebies.”
Councillor Nicola Lowery, borough councillor for the Ironbridge Gorge, said: “I am delighted to see this real family event being delivered at Dale End Park in the Ironbridge Gorge as our park will provide an ideal location to create a magical and imaginative early years festival for all the family to enjoy.
"There are a number of exciting headline acts and the festival will see stories, music, magic, science, arts, crafts, growing and so much more, there really will be something for everyone at this unique and creative festival.
"I am working closely with Sarah to ensure our local community are involved and I am thoroughly looking forward to this interactive family event being brought to life in the Gorge."
As well as the stage show, attractions will include slime and painting, music corner, mud pies and all things messy.
Organisers said Hullabaloo in the Park aims to be a fun packed day for little ones to explore and enjoy with things to make, play and take away.
There will also be pop-up restaurants and a number of bars for adults.
The festival will take place on July 6 from 10am.
Tickets will be available from thelittleboxoffice.com/sarahbelcherevents and average at £40 for a family of four.
