Exhibitors urged to act fast for Newport show
New exhibitors at this year’s Newport Show are being urged to get their applications in ahead of the deadline at the end of March.
Last year there were more than 200 trade stands at the popular family event and this year organisers expect it to be just as busy.
They are urging anyone who hasn’t exhibited with their stand before to send in their application as soon as possible.
The one day show will take place at Chetwynd Deer Park on Saturday 13 July and event Coordinator Gina Maher said they have had a lot of interest already.
“It’s going to be another bumper show and we would love to hear from any trade exhibitors who would like to come along,” she said.
“The trade places are always very popular and fill up very quickly.
“People can browse goods from agricultural machinery and garden furniture to clothing, gifts and food produce.
“As an exhibitor the show provides the perfect platform to launch a new product, to inform of new developments and to increase sales by promoting products or services.
“Whether you’re running a business or organisation we will be accepting applications up to March 29.”
Visitors and trade exhibitors travel from across the country for the popular family event and this year organisers have promised it will be bigger and better than ever as the Newport show marks its 110th year.
Alongside livestock, horses, the sheep show and competitive classes, there will be the festival of food area with cookery demonstrations from top chefs and the education hub for children.
The main attractions include the gripping freestyle motocross display team Bolddog Lings and Joseph's Amazing Camels offering camel racing and a chance to meet the animals.
Unlike any other one day show, visitors have the chance to buy a reduced price late entry ticket for a festival of live music from local bands in the early evening.
