Fire in undergrowth prompts emergency service response
Fire fighters were scrambled to a fire in grass and undergrowth near Newport on Saturday afternoon.

One fire appliance was mobilised from the town's fire station to Plough Lane, Forton, at 1.46pm to a report of a blaze in the open.
A spokesperson for Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service said the incident involved approximately one square metre of grass and undergrowth on fire.
They used one hose reel jet and knapsacks to extinguish the fire and the stop message was sent at 2.23pm.
