Crews tackle refuse lorry fire in Shifnal
Two fire engines were scrambled to a fire in the rubbish section of a refuse truck in Shifnal.
Crews were sent from Telford Central to Beech Drive at 11.25am, on Thursday, with an operations officer attendance.
They found a refuse lorry with a fire in the rubbish section of the vehicle which was extinguish by fire service personnel on arrival.
Firefighters used a hosereel jet and a thermal imaging camera to deal with the blaze.
The incident was over by 11.52am.
