Plans lodged to demolish 'unsightly' buildings behind Shifnal care home and build four new homes
Plans to build four homes on a patch of land behind a care home in Shifnal have been lodged with Shropshire Council.

If plans are approved, several commercial buildings and a residential dwelling named 'The Chalet' would be demolished, and four homes be built on the land behind Netherwood Residential Home on Haughton Road.
The planning application has been lodged by Advance Land & Planning Limited on behalf of 'Messrs Khaira and Plant'.
In the planning statement, the site is referred to as "somewhat incongruous", consisting of enclosed and open storage areas for the "sale and distribution of goods" which had been operating for "a few decades".
