Renault has revealed a new trio of electric vans which will resurrect the firm’s famous commercial vehicle nameplates of yesteryear.

Named the Estafette, Goelette and Trafic, all three vans will go on sale in 2026 as part of Renault’s expanding line-up of electric commercial vehicles.

They will be built on the firm’s new ‘skateboard’ and SDV architecture – however no details of their powertrains have been revealed at this stage.

The Trafic features a high body line and curved doors, while at the back the tail lights feature a 3D design along with black lower body protection.

Elsewhere, the Goelette nameplate, last used between 1956 and 1966, makes a return and will be available in three versions. There will be a choice of chassis cab, box and tipper, giving commercial buyers plenty of choice.

Also returning is the Estafette name, which was previously seen on vans between 1959 and 1980.The revived model features a three-piece panoramic windscreen, sliding side doors and a front lightstrip that is aligned with the daytime running lights. At the back, the van features running boards on both sides and a single-piece roller shutter.

All three vans will be built in France at the firm’s Sandouville plant, with them set to go on sale in 2026 – further details will be revealed in the upcoming months.
