The proposed sale includes two principal equipped farms, substantial ranges of modern livestock buildings, traditional farm buildings with development potential, subject to planning, residential property and productive arable, pasture and woodland.

The estate has been let for a number of years and will be sold predominantly with vacant possession as a whole or in up to five lots.

A guide price of £16,500,000 for the whole is quoted by joint selling agents Savills and Strutt & Parker.

Louise Harrison, director of Savills rural agency, said: “It’s an exciting opportunity for such a large block of land within a ring fence to come to the market, having been tenant farmed for a number of years. The estate will soon be vacant, giving a new owner complete flexibility on managing it going forward.
