The most and least expensive Shropshire neighbourhoods according to new figures

New figures revealing the most and least expensive neighbourhoods to buy a home in Shropshire have been released.

The ONS has revealed house price figures for areas of Shropshire

The Office for National Statistics has revealed statistics showing where properties are likely to set you back the most and where you could snap up a bargain.

According to the ONS, the Corvedale neighbourhood was Shropshire's priciest, with a median value of £610,000, among 22 sales in the area during the last calendar year.

Ths ONS said the Worfield area was next, where a house could set you back £472,500, while Chirbury and Worthen had a median price of £420,000 in 2022.

According to the figures, the Oswestry West neighbourhood saw the lowest house prices, with buyers paying an average of £143,750 across 58 sales last year. This was followed by Oswestry South and Oswestry East, where buyers spent £177,500 and £182,500 respectively.

Caroline Eaton, of Berriman Eaton Estate Agents, said Corvedale was a desirable location.

"It's stunning," she said."It's rural Shropshire at its best.
