Motorcyclist dies after crash on A49 near Ludlow
A motorcyclist has died after a crash on the A49 near Ludlow.
The motorbike collided with a 4x4 vehicle at Woofferton, where the B4362 links with the A49, at about 11.55am on Saturday.
Police are now appealing for information from anyone who witnessed what led up to the collision between the the black and gold Velocette motorcycle and the silver Honda CR-V.
Vicky Smith, speaking for West Mercia Police, said: "The male motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after the collision.
"Investigating officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicles, and the manner in which they were being driven before the collision occurred."
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident 323S of May 27.
