Long delays on Shrewsbury A5 after crash between car and lorry closes road
There were long delays on the A5 in Shrewsbury during morning rush hour today after a crash between a lorry and a car closed the road.
There were queues on the A5 going back to the Dobbies Roundabout from the Emstrey Roundabout, with delays also reported on the A49, London Road, Emstrey Bank and other surrounding routes.
The crash happened at about 8.20am and one man has been taken to hospital.
Five fire engines, police and ambulance were all been sent to the scene.
