A5 closed all day at Shrewsbury after lorry crash
The A5 at Shrewsbury was closed most of today after a lorry crash caused an oil spill on the road.
The crash happened at about 4am close to the Churncote roundabout.
The road was closed northbound from the Edgebold roundabout while Highways England clear the spillage.
There were no reports of any injuries. The road had opened again by around 9pm.
Shortly before 8am there was also a three vehicle crash on the A5 at Ensdon near Montford Bridge which also caused delays.
Fire crews were called to the scene to make the vehicles safe.
One woman was taken to hospital with injuries to her neck and ankle as a result of the crash.
