Proposal to reduce speed limit on south Shropshire B-road

The speed limit on a south Shropshire road could be reduced.

A consultation has been launched asking people for their views on the proposal for the B4367 from Clungunford to Lingen Bridge Road, near Bucknell on the English/Welsh border.

Currently, the speed limit on the stretch of road 206 metres south of its junction with Weston Road to 109m south of its junction with the road leading to Bucton is 50mph.

However, Shropshire Council is proposing to reduce it to 40mph.
