When you’re tempted to get into fishing, and you’re only put off not by the prospect of sitting still and keeping quiet for hours on end, but by the thought of the financial investment in rods, bait and lures and how it would impact on your ability to keep buying that ice cream you like.
I don’t really think I’ll ever have the temperament or the patience to get into fishing, even if one day I have the funds - but after touring some of Telford’s premiere fishing pools this summer, I can definitely see the appeal.
