Letter: High cost of parking at Shropshire hospitals

I write regarding the extortionate car parking charges shortly to be introduced at our main Shropshire hospitals.

How much money has been spent on consultations and discussions on the proposed parking changes?

How much money will be spent on the new cash machines, barriers etc?

Will these cash machines give change? No! Another nice little rip-off.

Will the current parking staff still have their jobs. If not, what will be the redundancy costs?

What will be the annual running costs and who will benefit from any profits? The patients? I doubt it.

We could, of course, remove the charges completely and get rid of the people we are paying to come up with these stupid and appalling ideas.
