Letter: Quarter of a pint limit would kill drinks industry
Research claims that alcohol consumption should be limited to as little as a quarter of a pint of beer daily.

If this is true, it bodes ill for the drinks industry which will collapse entirely if this report is adopted by the Government.
Given the past interventions of the 'nanny state' over smoking, etc, those thinking of taking over a pub or starting a brewery should think again.
The zealots who are taking over Britain – with their ideologies of promoting teetotalism, no smoking, 'gay' marriage and all the other unpopular measures they embrace – will soon ruin this country.
