Letter: Evidence of evil dogs

Your report (Shropshire Star, June 30) on the award of the Binney Medal to Charles Bonser, who risked his life to save a child from a savage dog attack, goes to show what I said recently was correct.

Published

A US judge, in awarding thousands of dollars to a dog attack victim, banned the owner of the offspring of a destroyed full terrier from having a child, unless he disposed of the animal first, remarking that it was the breeding, DNA, and genes, not owners, which caused them to turn on people without warning.

There is no earthly need for any private citizen to have large vicious dogs, that put others in fear, even where no attack takes place.
