Letter: Dangers at the junction
I see that work is about to commence on the roundabout at the Mile End service station at a cost of over £4 million.

Down the road is the notorious Maesbury Road Junction where there has been dozens of accidents and three or more deaths. When asked about improving the junction some years ago the Highways Authority said there was a lack of funds. There has been some "improvement" recently, a speed limit of 50 miles per hour through this junction which is blatantly ignored.
Well done Highways Authority!
