Letter: Bedroom tax mess
So Lib Dem Danny Alexander has finally admitted that the rehousing policy he helped to bring in is not workable and has simply put ordinary people into debt.

It is inconceivable that this plan was implemented without first doing a comprehensive survey of what suitable housing was available. Typical of this Coalition, the bedroom tax was rushed through without any real thought when people were telling them what would happen and now it has.
And we are supposed to trust these people.
