Letter: Division by Cameron
Writing as a sympathetic follower of the Conservative Party, I am disgusted with the way David Cameron has ruined the progress of the party to end its class-driven reputation.
Working class people will soon have to compete with many immigrants who are prepared to work self-employed with no sick leave, holidays, pension provision, contract or security of work. Now there is to be a real shortage of well-built family homes with long term rental for working families.
They have caused many of the NHS staff to realise that the service is seemingly being ruined, to so prepare it to be 'rescued' by privatisation. Meanwhile the rich bankers are allowed to escape unpunished for their continuing ruinous behaviour. Surely it was the greed of over-paid bankers that caused the wrecking of Europe's finances and not just the mistakes of the previous Labour Government.
His lack of sensitivity has also surely turned many working people, police, the rescue services and the teaching professions against the party. Nor does his promoting of women because they are good looking impress others of their sex, they are likely to resent his lack of understanding of how women think. I see social troubles ahead.
