Letter: Left high and dry by the system
My partner has been put on the sick due to an accident at work. His boss is refusing to pay him at all and we have been left with no money.

I rang the benefits office for some help as I have two children, my youngest is one and oldest is seven. The benefits office have now suspended all my tax credits due to having to fill in more claim forms, they said this could take up to five weeks. In the meantime I am becoming overdrawn at the bank as I have no money going in but at least £400 a month going out on bills, as I have a house to run.
My nan is currently paying my bills and lending me money to pay for food, she is a pensioner herself and I just think it is appalling the way I have been treated and left with nothing.
