Letter: Stumped by prayer ad ban

I struggled to believe it when I read cinemas are banning the Lord's Prayer advert because it might offend non-Christian faiths and atheists (Star, November 23).

Who decides on behalf of various faiths and atheists whether something will offend them or not? No doubt a handful of politically correct busybodies.

As a Christian I've never known atheists get offended when I say I believe in God or people of other faiths get offended when I say I believe Jesus is the Son of God. And I don't take offence when atheists and those of other faiths express their beliefs to me. Most people aren't so easily offended.
