Letter: Take a look at foreign aid

Whatever one may think of the Mail on Sunday I think readers should look at the investigation by them about how a lot of our foreign aid is used, this is something I have been asking for years to be looked again.

I know the do-gooders will kick off together with the politically correct. However, for once they need to be ignored and a long hard look at this aid needs to be undertaken. When cuts to the disabled budget are being considered then we need to look at where we are wasting billions. 0.7 per cent GDP is the highest proportion in the world, charity needs to start at home and the foreign aid targeted to help the needy not the greedy and terrorists.
