Letter: Link to Birmingham a bad move
So it seems Shropshire may be joined together with the West Midlands, with a regional seat of government in Birmingham. Awful!
Those who remember when Herefordshire and Worcestershire were united only to have an expensive 'divorce' will realise that bigger is not always better.
The people of Shropshire should be consulted over this potentially disastrous marriage of convenience and golden handshakes for CEOs.
