Letters: An insult to the young

Bob Wydell confidently asserts that 70 per cent of young people voted to Remain because "they no nothing about the EU and its super state ambitions."

He may think that, but how can he possibly know that as a fact? Perhaps he has spoken to them all.

To my mind his patronising claim is an impertinent insult to the intelligence of young people.

Does he not consider the possibility that many young people travel, work and study in other EU countries, sharing European culture in ways he cannot conceive?

Incidentally, my "working brain cell" notes than in his latest epistle, he has enlarged the EU to 29 member countries!
