Letter: Theresa May's tough act to follow
So now we have our second lady Prime Minister, I just hope that she has a handbag as large and as heavy as our first female premier.
She has only one female predecessor to live up to, I just hope that she can be as effective.
She has a difficult job ahead to get us clear of the European Union, but she as stated that Brexit means just what it says and she will do her utmost to achieve this.
To fail and not deliver on this majority vote by the public would not only mean her downfall but that of the Conservative Party as well.
I just hope that she turns out to be another Iron Lady and that she also is not for turning.
We have had several wimpish male PMs since our last female one and I can only hope that she lives up to her words.
