Letter: Donald Trump could be a success
Has there ever been a time when the left wing in the media, and especially the BBC, have been in such a frenzy over an American election?
America has just seen the back of one of the worst presidents they have ever had and voted against a democratic candidate who wouldn't notice the truth if it was around the Hollywood hill top.
The constant trawling for dross and reporting of unsubstantiated "evidence" against Trump is almost unbelievable.
Obama showed his respect for us when he said that we were at the back of the queue where he was concerned and further it wasn't the Russians who tried to interfere in our EU referendum it was him.
Personally I never had any respect for Obama and would never have felt safe with his hand on the tiller.
My feelings are goodbye to a failure. Go back to your golf, which seems more important to you.
Let us wait and see what Trump does before leaping to besmirch him.
You never know he might turn out to be damned good and at least he likes the British.
